The price of a 3D printed part doesn't depend on filament alone. To avoid losing money you also need to count electricity, printer wear, failed prints and the time you spend preparing files, removing supports and packing.
On top of that come waste for failed prints, packaging, the platform fee, your profit and any sales tax. The calculator does all of it at once and includes typical prices for filaments (PLA, PETG, TPU, ABS, ASA and engineering grades) and printers from Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, Elegoo, Qidi and other brands.
No need to copy numbers by hand: drop the print file from Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, PrusaSlicer or Cura (.gcode, .gcode.3mf or .bgcode) and Suma3D reads the grams, time, colours, printer and part thumbnail. For multicolour prints (AMS or MMU) you can set a different price for each filament. The file is read in your own browser and never uploaded.
